CASPIAN / CIRCUS TREES 10.01.21

Night 2 of 2 of Caspian headlining The Sinclair opened with one of the bands I have been most excited to see live, Circus Trees. This band rips. I have missed them on a few occasions, but seeing them crush a sold out gig opening for Caspian was the best possible outcome. Their energy on stage was infectious and the crowd was really feeling it. Quick glances and smirks from each of the sisters to one-another just further drove the excitement up. Seeing the band really enjoy themselves and find their comfort was so fun to watch. There are some big things coming for this band for sure.
Caspian is by far one of my favorite bands to see live and by far the loudest band on the planet. I love it. The band crushes and came out completely swinging for the fences. No one can really compare to the musicianship, energy, presence, and performance. Their light setup is top notch too and makes for a beautiful visual. It’s hard to capture in words the experience that is Caspian live. You really just need to be there. There is no reason to sleep on this band.
At the end of their set, and to the crowds delight, frontman, and the tallest man in the room, Philip Jamieson, addressed the crowd by saying this was usually the end of the set but they were feeling good and decided to go a few more, and it was such a special gift.
