White Reaper with openers, Mamalarky, set Royale in Boston on fire last Sunday night in support of their latest full length record, Asking For A Ride, which could be their best release yet.
Mamalarky opened the show with some really great indie pop songs that warmed the crowd up and got the blood pumping for what was about to be a face-melting set from White Reaper.
Once White Reaper took the stage the venue had filled up really solid and the spaces that were present before had dissipated and had been overflown with fans ready to mosh, jump, and sing along to some kick assery… Yes, kick-assery!
The band blistered through a packed set in what seemed like no time. The sweat was pouring as fast as I assume the beer was flowing from the bar. Riffs, melodies, and non stop action. Like an 80’s, cheesy Schwarzenegger film with riffs! Do not miss White Reaper on the rest of their dates or risk being a goof, “You son-of-a-bitch!”
