I had the amazing opportunity to hang out with the opener of Lostboycrows' The Indie Pop Tour. Brooke Alexx is a 27-year-old Japanese-American musician from New Jersey. With over 500 thousand followers on TikTok, from the opening act to the main. There wasn’t a moment during the show where someone wasn’t dancing. This was Brooke's first tour but from her stage presence you couldn’t even tell, from her stage presence, crowd surfing, and great crowd control to bringing her mom on stage, she owned that stage and Brooke Alexx is a name to know.

Lead singer Chris Danks leads Lostboycrow from Portland Oregon, lostboycrow has been putting music out since 2014. Their New York Show was halfway through their tour and Brook, and Lostboycrow both had high energy keeping the crowd pumped. This show was mixed with old and new fans, but everyone knew the words. The band had the crowd dancing with their energetic stage presence and catchy songs ranging from recent songs to their classics. The members of the band also deserve some recognition, the lead guitarist Tanner Orange and the drummer Jared Kleinstein did an impressive double set helping out Brooke Alexx open, Tanner had a very impressive guitar solo, especially playing over his head behind his back. Lostboycrow has a talent for being able to soothe over everything going on in the crowd and then follow it with an insanely well-done cover of Weezers Beverly Hills. Everyone could tell this show was special, and I won't be surprised to both acts doing amazing things moving forward.
