On Monday, June 13th, Roadrunner Boston (one of the city’s newest concert venues) was alive with the ardor of a crowd who has waited for over two years to sing, dance, and let loose with their favorite performer, Swedish grunge-pop superstar Tove Lo.

Bursting with exuberance and unabashed self-confidence, Tove Lo intricately balances her bold stage presence with her down-to-earth relatability and warmth. She makes her fans feel at home at her show, ensuring a happy and safe space for people of all backgrounds and identities.

Making sure to maintain a diverse and eclectic setlist, she performed a broad range of songs from all four of her studio albums, including “Glad He’s Gone” and “Talking Body”. Watching Tove Lo perform, it is clear that she is exactly where she is meant to be - on stage, a role model and inspiration for so many people worldwide. Not many people have the talent and stamina to dance as fervently, sing as flawlessly, and live as fully as Tove Lo is able to do simultaneously, night… after night… after night.
