Opening the show for Tommy Lefroy, was none other than Los Angeles native singer-songwriter Kristiane, having two albums under her belt, she’s making her kick into the music industry. This was her first time performing in NYC but I can tell you right now this will not be the last time the east coast sees Kristiane.

The power duo that makes up Tommy Lefroy consists of Tessa Mouzourakis and Wynter Bethel. The pair originally started the band as a joke, an excuse to play music with each other. The name is a play on the alleged heartbreaker and muse of Jane Austin. They decided on the name because they were tired of being the ones getting their hearts broken and wanted to be the heartbreakers instead. Even though Tommy is still very new to the music scene. Their songs have had such an impact on so many people, myself included. Some fans travelled from faraway places such as Florida just to see the girls do their first ever New York show. That’s what so special about music, someone’s lyrics can let the listeners know that they’re not alone in whatever they’re going through. That they are being heard by someone. Their setlist consisted of their entire debut EP, their first single ever, as well as three new songs.

Only being in the music scene for a year, they’ve been quite the busy pair, in 2021 they released a single as well as an EP titled ‘Flight Risk’ which changed everything for them. A week prior they performed their first ever American show at the Moroccan Lounge in Los Angeles. Having both of their US shows sold out had quite an impact on the pair, they expressed their immense gratitude to the crowds. The near future for this band is very eventful! They’re going on two separate tours opening for two bands! Starting November 4th, you can catch Tommy Lefroy opening for Sigrid on her European tour. Then February and March of 2023 they are opening for Samia all across America! Don’t miss your chance to see this amazing duo so early in their career.

Friday the 21st, is the release date for their new single ‘Jericho Beach.’ Have your ears out for new music from this very talented band.
