If you’ve ever wanted to be a part of a truly memorable experience that leaves you more exhilarated and energized than you ever thought possible, then you absolutely need to see The Happy Fits live.

The Happy Fits is an exceptionally talented trio made up of Calvin Langman, Ross Monteith, and Luke Davis. They made a stop at the House of Blues Boston this past Wednesday, and had an incredible, unique way of getting everyone off their feet and singing along to their music. “When my bow hits the floor in ten seconds, I want everybody to jump!” isn’t something you’d expect to hear at a typical rock show, but The Happy Fits is anything but typical.

Frontman Calvin Langman, a classically trained cellist, exudes excitement in a way that gives even the most relaxed concertgoers an adrenaline rush. He’s able to make multi-tasking look effortless with his cello, microphone, and a stage presence that rivals that of the most renowned stage performers.

On lead guitar, Ross Monteith’s musicianship shines as he smoothly transitions between harmonious melodies and robust riffs that make you think to yourself, “that sounds like it would be so much fun to play” (even if you’re not a guitarist yourself!)

Drummer Luke Davis provides the heartbeat for the night, keeping perfect time and putting moods into song in a way that makes you wish he could be your own personal drummer.

To put it simply, The Happy Fits are the epitome of fun. They know how to have a good time on stage amongst themselves as well as with the audience in the crowd. No matter what genre of music you typically listen to, I promise you will come away from their set wishing that they could play just a little bit longer!
