Celebrating 20 years of, Page Avenue, Story Of The Year still manage to capture the emotions, nostalgia, and angst of the time period their debut record came from. What a time to be alive. I do miss the spin kick guitar throws but I guess some things do belong in the past. But singing Smash Mouth’s 1999 hit “All Star” and listening to singer Dan Marshall say, “Boston is fucking weird, dude,” multiple times does deserve to be here in the now in 2024. Here we go.
