MCR’s Long Awaited Reunion Tour in Boston 9/8/22

There couldn’t have been a better way to spend the night in Boston than seeing My Chemical Romance perform at TD Garden on Thursday. MCR finally made their way back to Boston for The Reunion Tour which had been postponed from 2020. I was lucky enough to attend one of the two sold out nights in Boston.

MCR gave nothing less than the performance of a lifetime. Playing songs from every one of their albums, it would be nearly impossible to miss one of your favorite MCR songs in their time here. Starting the show off with their latest single “The Foundations of Decay” then some more of the classics like Helena, I’m Not Okay (I Promise), and of course, Welcome To The Black Parade. It’s more than clead that lead singer Gerard Way puts every ounce of effort when it comes to the theatrics, raw emotion, and powerful vocals in every performance. It’s no shock that My Chemical Romance has continued being a huge part of the pop punk and alt rock scene. If you have the opportunity to see them live, you’re in for the time of your life!
