Bathed in light from panels hanging above Royale in Boston, from a glistening disco ball, and projections of waves, color smashing vibrations, and light beams soared and darted over the constant hum of glistening faces, eyes open and closed in complete trance that is Tycho.
Headed by Scott Hansen, the experimental group balanced a slow burn with a dynamic forward momentum during their recent trip to Boston. Supporting their latest full length record, Infinite Health, the band broke out songs from said record as well as some of my favorites, “Awake,” Spectre,” and’ “Division.”
Having common ground with a fabulous trip of the fantastical variety, Tycho brings you on a vast exploration in sight and sound in the physical, and a warmth inside that beats and urges to be felt in every inch of yourself. An experience. An experience.
