Indie-rocker Torres, also known as Mackenzie Scott, played an energetic and passionate show at the Sinclair in Cambridge for the last show on this US leg of her tour. Torres released her sixth album, "What an Enormous Room", earlier in January and performed many of the songs from the album at her show. She also played fan favorites from her extensive discography such as "Sprinter" from her 2015 album of the same name. Scott spoke candidly between songs about the personal journey she has been on since the release of her earlier work and about her happiness in her recent marriage, which her more recent work is inspired by. Her impressive vocal skills were displayed in the performance of songs from her new album such as "Jerk into Joy", which contains the lyrics that inspired the album title. The tour promoting "What an Enormous Room" continues in Europe next week before returning to the US later in the spring.
