Despite having their van, trailer, gear, and even some personal items stolen in Ohio, Mannequin Pussy, with support from Angel Du$t and Pinkshift, stormed into The Sinclair last Wednesday, and delivered an impassioned performance, in solidarity with the support from the sold out crowd and supporters who have been donating to the band and spreading the word about the stolen gear. ***Update: The shitbag(s) who stole the van and the gear have been identified. Singer / guitarist, Missy Dabice, took a few moments in between the set to give a sincere tear-jerking thank you to everyone that has shown support and helped them continue the tour and stay afloat, and also to bash the pieces of shit who robbed them. The show felt like a kind of weird celebration. So many people came together to witness an incredible night of music, but also to show love, a sense of comraderie and a, “We got your back,” attitude. Don’t fuck with Mannequin Pussy!
