My first show as an LA resident, and it was a banger. Loma Prieta and The New Trust ripped a hole in Genghis Cohen.
The New Trust are sick. There’s really not much else to say. They just rule and were such sweet people. The bonus!
It’s been some years since I’ve seen Loma Prieta play. It was back in 2019 in Boston with Jeromes Dream. That was a rad show but Loma only gets better and better. They were so tight, full of energy, and they’re so loud. It rules. I don’t know how many people Genghis Cohen holds, but the room was packed. It was beautiful. Like an old house show. I’ve shot arenas, and 1000+ cap venues, but shows like this will always be my favorite.
