Last year I got to go on tour with RX Bandits with support from Nova Charisma, another band fronted by Hail The Suns own Donovan Melero. I’ve also seen many disaster movies about wild tornados, intense waves, and catastrophic weather, and the energy these natural disasters create almost fails in comparison to the energy and force of nature that Melero is on any stage. Big, small, dim, lit, you name it, he owns it. And with Hail The Sun which includes the indescribable talents of Shane Gann, Aric Garcia, John Stirrat, and Allen Cassias, the magnitude of floor shaking intensity is unparalleled. It’s actually wild. Just… I don’t even know. Just think of more weather comparisons. You know, the gnarly kind. That’s Hail The Sun live. But you know, not actually life threatenings and dangerous. Just like… wild and intense and fun. You get it.
