CHVRCHES took their Screen Violence tour to the House of Blues in Boston on the first of December, and it was not violent but much more than a delight.

Final Girl, Lauren Mayberry, controlled the stage like no one else could ever dream of, twirling from one end to the other, making even the most decorated olympic figure skaters jealous. Lauren’s voice shined and rang with passion and excitement, backed by the incredible talent and booming walls of sound of Iain Cook, Martin Doherty, and drummer Jonny Scott. The sold out crowd was not to be contained, dancing, singing, screaming, all through the night, which included 3 wardrobe changes from Mayberry, including the Final Act (encore) for the Final Girl, which had Lauren dripping in blood.

Donna Missal, opened the show to a massive pop from the audience. Her stage presence, flawless movements, and incredible voice had the crowd going and going.

The sonic and visual stimulation from the performance is unmatched, and CHVRCHES ability to transfer past albums and an AOTY like Screen Violence into a live performance is truly breathtaking. A 1000% Do Not Miss Show to take us to the end of the year.
