The crowd doubled as I walked down the 4 flights and crossed the street. Cars stopped, honked, piled up, honked longer and more frequent, the crowd laughed, pointed, stared. It was cold. We rocked in place. The line grew. Some Boston passerby called out, “who’s playing?”
